DEPARTMENT OF LIFE SCIENCES
The Biological and Life Sciences division began in 2022 with a vision to nurture science, knowledge and innovation among highly motivated graduate students and researchers looking to break new ground in their chosen specialisations. We currently offer a five-year integrated Masters (IMS) in Life Sciences, as well as a PhD programme. Our existing faculty focus on bioinformatics, evolutionary biology, nanotechnology, stem cell biology and related areas.
The division aims to enrich human and environmental health through rigorous research and teaching, enabling both students and faculty to envision and develop rewarding careers. Our distinctive pedagogy is intended to deliver a broad-based, liberal scientific education that encourages the spirit of inquiry, multi-disciplinary research, and new kinds of innovation and entrepreneurship.
